out and about

after work today, i went to café Zusammen to meet up with Kajsa and her lovely stepdaugther Olivia. when i arrived i was told to sit down immidiately, as it was my turn to roll the dice in yatzy. we had a lot of fun, Olivia made me an awesome drawing which now lives on my fridge door, and she insisted that i made her hair look like mine.
i feel like this outfit is completely boring, but what can you expect when i have been cooking all day? the job went fine, i managed to cook some decent food and met some inspiring people, which is really what it is all about, right?
café Zusammen was actually quite a decent place, i got a soy latte which was pretty good, and the interior is pretty cool - there is a red room and a white room. and it is located about 100 feet from my apartment, so that's a plus!

hope you all have a great weekend! i am going out with a few friends tonight to drink a beer or two, and then i am working the weekend, and i probably have to catch up on some homework and, you know, act like an adult. oh well.

i love this city

monday night i went out to see a play with my classmates. it was in Skuespilhuset, which is an absolutely magnificent building. it has panorama windows facing the water, and it was unbelievable to sit with a glass of cold white wine, looking out on the water and the lights. it is located near the harbor area in the inner city, called Nyhavn, which is really old and really beautiful (and completely tourist-y, but if you can ignore that it's awesome) - i walked from Kgs Nytorv to the theatre. quite a lovely evening!
